He was a Spanish painter considered one of the main representatives of social realism and author of an extensive artistic work that collects scenes, landscapes and customs of the Valencian people, treated with delicacy but with great depth. He also stood out in his role as a portrait painter, creating a collection of paintings of typical Valencian characters, giving them a strong psychological and evocative charge. Winner of numerous national and international awards, his work is partially collected in the Prado Museum, Museum of Fine Arts of Valencia, Provincial Museum of Jaén and Museum of the City of Valencia, among others.
