Here, Agrasot made several versions of the same model of a Leonese peasant woman, such as the “villager”, presumably dated between the autumn of 1893 and the winter of 1894, when in her studio on Vicente López Street in Valencia, she transferred the oil painting to canvas. , drawings, watercolors and various sketches made during his summer trip to León. Note his skill in converting flakes of wool, inserted into the spindle, into thread to first dye and then intertwine; the serene beauty, the girl with her gaze fixed on the light that enters from the left tangent; and the description of her clothing, going from the broad, crimson line of the skirt to black, to contrast perfectly with the white and red of the shirt, surprising us, finally, the meticulousness of the necklace and the scarf tied to her head.
